| John Mayer – Waiting on the World to Change Lyrics | 10 years ago |
| @[danieljames:4085] It's not about that at all, it's about seeing how bad the world is, but sticking through it, toughing it out, waiting for it to change around them. Waiting for that new horizon. | |

It's about liking someone who for what ever reason you can't talk to about how you feel, you feel yourself losing your grip on them. You can't talk about your feeling , but you can be simple and polite; asking "About today" |

Personally, I hear the musing of a man who either liked someone who is gone now, or was in a relationship that ended. Just the general sound of it, melancholy but slightly upbeat, downtrodden but nostalgic. Some parts of the lyrics also support the musing guy theory. He's just wondering if she still or ever has thought about him when she is "sitting in your fanning chair drinking pink rabbits" |

Personally, i see a guy, likely a teenager, so deep in love with this girl, he can't go a day without thinking of her, but he doesn't know if she feels the same. Which makes him so happy and so sad. So happy cause he loves this girl, but so sad cause he has no idea if she does love him. |
