@weekapaug-groove The thing is that music is about geological eons... but lyrics mostly not.... I've read in one interview that they decide that writing lyrics about bacterias swimming in empty ocean would be dull so althrough there are some allusions to geological eons* ony the music is about them, lyrics have different themes *for exemple in Eoarchean (which is first eon in which Life appaered) it starts (and it's part of somethin I would dare call chorus) " Where does it come from And how was it made? " |

Sitra Ahra is the dark enegry of the God itself (it was invented by some of the judaist, they was sad, because they have no "satan-like" creature and if they have nothink lie that, the "evil" and "good" is not in balance) for my interpretation i think it's one of many therion's metaphor on expellation from paradise |

For Kliffoth i've read somewhere that this is an opposite of Tree of Live but it's not meant to be "Tree of Dead" but the "Three of Knowledge" (is it the same tree like from genesis?) "Telna ha ilan ha hizon" it think that "telna" is female from midland, "ilan" is a hebrew name, but I have no idea what "hizon" could be. Sitra Ahra is the dark energy coming from God itself (becouse of necceseary equilibrium of evil and good, and therefore this religion (kabbalistic jewish? Not sure) have no Satan-like creature, they have this dark energy from God) "Olahm ha" sounds like uzbekistan words for "world" and "yes" ... :D but I rather think this is refference to Judaistic ritual. It's first mention in story of Noah, it's offer to burn some animal as a sacrifice. Does it mean to burn Kliffoth? Or make sacrifice "for" kliffoth? Oiht Eoga Mlu well, here I'm just guessing by a similarity with europian languages, but it seems like "to take a risk" or "to face the danger" or somthing like that well... for the rest I have no focken idea what could it mean. But i feel it's about some wierd therion-version of the event, when God is telling to Adam and Eva to get out of the Eden (becouse they found Kliffoth, so his evil energy sends them for eternal danger? ) |

Boring introduction I've read somewhere about Jari's enthusiasm abou lyrics, he said that it ould be interpreted in so many different ways. So of course, the original one is about his experience with tuberculosis like elvin-wizard said. My interpretaton But i feel another interpretation, when I was reading the lyrics for first time, I've asked myself: "Is it really from first album? Well musicalli it fits to it, but well the lyrics... it sounds like it is about the making of Time Batlle against Time From many points creating of Time I (and II) looks more like battle From first line to last i feel this meanng of lyrics, look: "I'm sailing away to undiscovered seas " That's about the overwhelming number of tracks in Time (I), about how new and undiscoverd is what he is planning to be made. "I reach my hands but there's no one on my path" That's about his problems, no one who will came and help him finally create the album, there's many who tries to help, but it is not still enough. "I can't sleep cause my body is burning Cold sweat, cannot breath, I'm loosing my mind" This is well known for everybody who has ever create something he realy loved, he really wanted to create well. He can't sleep, he must continue in procces of creation. He's changing, he's concentrete only on Time, he is not Jori, he is someone who is creating Time "Reflection in the mirror shows a different man at night" "Watching to the night, the hope is gone Carrying so much burden in my heart Watching to the night with tired eyes Waiting for nothing all my life" Now he is realising that it's too hard for him. That he's just wainting, trying to make it better, but still nothing happens. And this way, every sentence could be interpreted, this is very interesting "Fighting everyday, but it feels like, it's just the same Oh time, you cut my heart and soul" He spend eight years of hard work and he made only half of his work... Still fighting, but no achievments and i think that is clear how to interpret "Oh time, you cut my heart and soul" Finally "I feel nothing, but hate and love So much fire inside, so much left undone" He Loves what he is creating and he hates... well... he hates what he is creating (Time I a II) he's full by inspiration, so many songs he want to write, so many tracks to put in them... but after so many years, only three songs, so much left undone... |

But very nice idea, thinking about your idea, sentences "Before the leaves have fallen Before we lock the doors There must be the third and last dance This one will last forever" sounds more bueatifull to me :) So I disagreee with you, but i love your idea, thank you |

I think it's about someone who has seen and learnt too many. Suddenly, he starts to feel, that it's too much fot him "Something is wrong My strength has gone Thoughts are corrupting my mind" Maybe it's just one concrete thing, that he can't stand, e.g. some bad think he did. I think it's possible, but "too much of knowledge" is more oriented on science (and album (or parts) are inspired by the science book "The quantum enigma), so I prefer this interpretation. But sentence "It’s just a dreary memory stuck in your mind" makes me pretty unsure. So I will continous explaining the "science-oriented meaning" of lyrics His knowledge is not usefull, it's just torturing his mind (remind me some evening, when I can't fall to sleep, becouse of too many thoughts in my mind). But there's a way from this trouble. Maybe he (or she :) ) should let his all my get clean, empty (allowed the silence to deystroy your thoughs in every kind), but it's also to much. Isn't better just find inner peace? ("Retrieve your balance Use your senses to observe (the essence of silence) Search for your essence Find the silence within you ") I quite confuse about final sentence "(The essence lies in silence)" Maybe it says that this trying is impossible, that only way to get inner peace, to escape from bad thoughst is to be death (or very empty?). |
