Woah.....first comment? Srsly guys? this song is gold! :( Okay so lemme tell ya what i think: Obviously, the guy is friends with this girl. Him saying that they've got a story and he's about to change the ending, means that THEY ARE FRIENDS, BUT HE DOESNT WANT IT TO END THAT WAY, HE WANTS SOMETHING MORE, he wants to be with her. He loves her and he wants to let her know. He's also saying that they should stop pretending like they don't have feelings for each other, cause he knows that she likes him too. He's asking her to stay and not want her to be with someone else and just see that he is actually the one for her. :) |

I could kinda relate to this song....I confessed to my guy friend that I like him just before graduation and now I just dont know where to take things anymore. Cause he still hasnt told me how he feels and he keeps saying that he is not ready to say it....still I keep on waiting for his answer even though deep down, I know he is just scared to tell me his answer cause he doesn't want me to get hurt. But rigth now, the fact that he's ignoring me and we're not talking anymore HURTS EVEN MORE. :( |

The music video director of this song said that the mv is about a couple who broke up and the guy wishes for things to go back to the way it was before, back when they were still in love. Here's what I think though: At first, he is trying to say how it all started....the girl was new in town and she made him changed----it was kinda like love at first sight. Then second part after chorus, he is saying that he wants to be with her and is trying to talk to her. Then the bridge, things started to go down. So that's it they already started hanging out, and the guy isn't sure if she STILL loves him---cause for some reason she's going away. She's not staying and he's reaching out for her. (THEY AREN'T A COUPLE YET.) So then in the chorus he starts singing how much he wanted everything to go back to the way it was before when they were still in love. Back into her arms. :) |

For me, this song is about two best/close friends. Specifically a boy and a girl. The girl secretly has feelings for the boy. It's like she thinks that he is the perfect one for her, her kind of soul mate. She is saying that they're super close and it seems like she can do anything with him while just being herself around him all the time. She doesn't need to be someone when she's around him. Some people are saying that this song can also be about other persons ( family, cousins, etc.) But from the lyrics ( "Well, you drive me crazy half the time, the other half i'm only trying to let you know that what I feel is true." ) it clearly says that she is trying to let The boy know that she has feelings for him, dropping hints but maybe he is too naive to notice. So yeah, this is my understanding of this song. I can relate to it too. :) |
