I believe this song is Gerard obviously stating he's not okay, trying to make it absolutely obvious that he is just not okay, the part in this song when it says "you sing the words but don't know what it means" this to me seems like he is saying he's written all these songs about his struggle but you don't understand the struggle, but you will still sing along to the songs because they sound good, this whole song to me is about how fame can be a bitch basically, gerard thinks that everyone thinks he's okay, when in reality it's an act and he is NOT OKAY. |
