I think this song can be interpreted numerous ways; I can see everyone in the comments points of view when listening to their explanation of what they think it means. My initial impression from the song was from a unique perspective of people with depression/anxiety. It’s the part of you that wants to escape it, fight it, beat it. But there’s also a huge part of you that wallows in it and doesn’t have the strength or care to try anymore. |
