This is clearly about the death of Jimmy 'the Rev' Sullivan which was written fully by synyster gates. Personally I think this is a reply to the song 'fiction' which was the last song that Jimmy wrote before he died and in fiction he wrote "promise me you'll never feel afraid" and in so far away syn wrote "sleep tight I'm not afraid" which shows a link as he is almost replying to jimmy. This song is very clearly in his memory and we will never forget him. RIP the Rev. |

In love with this song, and I find it very thought provoking. Whenever I hear this song it makes me remember that life is too short to be wasting and you should always make the most of each day as it happens even if it is a bad day. The first lines "seize the day or die regretting the time you lost" is pretty self explanatory- make the most of each day or you will end up regretting it. The music video really does the song justice as it is showing a real life situation that anyone can experience and watching the video always brings tears to my eyes as it really makes you think about life.
All in all this is an awesome song need i say more? |

Love this song and I'm pretty sure that it is about leaving home or going travelling but wear they came from is always with them and they will always end up coming back home.
This is beside the point but found this song very useful in my GCSE food tech revision to remember the types of fish! |
