I think the song is about stubbornness (which is the love he left) -- "many years ago and many years from now". It is about conscious evolution; which is, indeed aided by psilocybin mushrooms, since they effect synesthesia...dissolving one's own cognitive dissonance. Reread the lyrics and I think you'll find that this hypothesis fits with astonishing clarity...the video also supports this interreflection meme. |
