I think this song is about someone who has been really hurt by someone else and is going to take revenge knowing it is not the right thing to do. The song was featured on Pretty Little Liars which gave me the idea. "Secret, hidden underneath it Trying hard to keep it Safely out of reach Creeping, I can feel it breathing Calling to the surface Finally in my dreams" She tries to put away her anger and feelings of hate but they keep crawling back up. "Taken down I give into what I can't disguise" Again her hatred for this person. "Keep me under cover in what could of been" She pretends like nothing happened to avoid suspicion.
