Seems to me like this song is about a traveler who goes back to his church and maybe is confronted by other people to believe ("I've had enough") or maybe want him to leave ("Ill bolt soon or later"). Seems like he shows this photograph to maybe share an anecdote with a fellow native of the church or town (Not sure why)... He asks for a brother and sister of the church to pray for him, because, maybe he's just stopping by and doesn't want to be confronted or harassed by the natives of the church about his traveling or lack of faith... |

It seems like this song- and really the entire album- has to do with disillusionment by the singer, specifically in faith in the song Smoke and Mirrors... he beacons to God with names like life-taker, dream-makers, saying that he wants to believe but he's losing his faith, although he expresses a desire to believe. |
