I think this song is about a man who falls in love with a girl who was depressed. She was buried in sadness, and he came along. "When you love someone you love them just the same" Maybe she tried to push him away, but he knew that's not what she needed, and he just wants to help. "I feel your heartbeat" he's letting her know that he's there for her. Because that's what love is. It's helping the person when they need it most. Excellent song, my favorite from this album |

I think this is about a man who fell in love with his closest friend, and when he finally told her, she didn't feel the same and to make it worse they became estranged. "I just don't want to miss you tonight" he's upset because he can't see her anymore, and he doesn't want to miss her anymore. "And I don't want the world to see me, cause I don't think that they'd understand." He can't tell anyone what's happened to him, because nobody really understands how he feels. "When everything's made to be broken" His heart is what's broken. "I just want you to know who I am" He just wants her to love him back. "The moment of truth in your lies" Was she really just scared? Will there be a moment of truth where she loves him? "When everything feels like the movies" Or is he just kidding himself, that kind of thing only happens in the movies. "You bleed just to know you're alive" He feels dead inside, and little makes him feel good without her in his life. This song, and my description, fit what has happened to me incredibly closely. I just wish everything WAS like the movies... |
