| To me, the title says a lot. It sounds like he was Too Late in saving a loved one from dying. "I look into your eyes Diving into the ocean" is like a metaphor for looking into someone's eyes as they are dying and going into the great unknown... or the afterlife. "I look into your eyes Falling" describes the eyes falling back. "Like a wall of stars We are ripe to fall" explains that everyone of us can fail (Too Late) or die at any moment. "And if you are a ghost I'll call your name again" explains his pain and guilt in losing this loved one in a more literal way. "You always" explains that he will always live with the pain. I love this song. | |
