This song has really helped me when I feel down due to a drop in self esteem. That being said I have never been in the position that I hear in the "story". I hear a story about someone in a relationship that is no good for them and if they do strike out on their own they know the cycle will continue to keep them down. They have to leave to make their life better but having had someone for so long it is scary to leave them and try to do what you have to do. You cant take care of someone else if you cant take care of your self. |
