this is very much a reflection of their thoughts on Vietnam. The "tune in, turn on, drop-out" anti-war influences here "we're leaving you don't need us" saying that culture has no need for "us hippies". And "take a sister and lead her from this foreign land." Meaning, " we don't recognize America as our land anymore"....we just leave and leave you all to your own self-destruction... |
