I think the man in the song thinks he's not good enough for the girl. She loves him and for whatever reason he does't think he is worthy of her. "All of the feelings that I know you've never felt And all of the simple words you never said I want you to keep them like a secret to yourself They're not for me" Someone else said they think that has to do with age or maturity level, but I think its simpler than that. He is pretty much telling her to leave him be. Don't come to me with your feelings or to talk. Not because he hates her, but because he must not have any self worth and feels like someone else can treat this girl better than he can. He does love her and being away from her is the only way he will be able to move on. |

I think it is about a couple that loves each other, but for whatever reason they drive each other crazy. Deep down they know the relationship wont last, but they keep trying. They want to make it work. The singer says "So free up the cheaper seats Here comes the Greek Tragedy" because he knows the relationship is eventually going to end in tragedy. |
