REO Speedwagon – Keep On Loving You Lyrics 2 years ago
I know these lyrics have been interpreted by lots of people already, but I think of the lyrics this way:

The singer is a man who is in a relationship with a woman who has either cheated on him, or slept around a lot.
(And though I know all about those men
Still I don't remember
'Cause it was us
Baby, way before them, and we're still together)
He has long since forgiven her, and they have apparently maintained their relationship. It might also allude to the couple’s relationship having been longer than any of said woman’s conquests.

The singer then affirms that he still loves the woman despite all this.
(And I meant
Every word I said
When I said that I love you I meant that I love you forever

And I'm gonna keep on lovin' you
'Cause it's the only thing I wanna do
I don't wanna sleep, I just wanna keep on lovin' you)

Also the bit about her being “coiled up and hissin’) is probably how she had been defensive and lying about her cheating. Perhaps the singer should have broken up with the woman, but it’s honestly the forgiveness and love that he has for her that he still stands by. The relationship doesn’t seem to be over, because the woman probably became more upfront and honest. The couple works things out in the end.

That’s what I think this classic hit means. Love REO!

Alanis Morissette – Uninvited Lyrics 10 years ago
Since this song was written for the soundtrack to "City of Angels" in 1998, it's clearly mirroring the thoughts and emotions of Maggie (Meg Ryan's character), towards Seth (Nicholas Cage's character, the angel).

Maggie isn't falling in love with Seth yet, but eventually she will. Seth is an angel, only on Earth to escort souls to Heaven. He can't be with a mortal woman, it's not allowed (lyrics "you're not allowed, you're uninvited"). So it's basically a song about their forbidden love.

Depeche Mode – Enjoy The Silence Lyrics 10 years ago
This song is so awesome! It came out when I was only 4 years old. It's been a favorite of mine since childhood.

But for my interpretation of the lyrics:
I always thought it was about a relationship, possibly marital (lyrics "vows are spoken to be broken") that is on the rocks. Basically, it's about a couple who might be on the verge of splitting up, but the young man is explaining to his girlfriend/wife that words can be very hurtful and violent. It's about actions being more powerful than words. What you do is more important than what you say, but what you say can do just as much damage and harm to someone you love. He's telling her that he's pained by what she says, and all that he's ever wanted is her. The feelings between them are intense, but the words are trivial. Still, their love is all that matters.
