I have often seen lyrics to this song concluded with this description of the final spoken words : [incomprehensible] Dear friends, breathing is an ugly thing [incomprehensible] This song was my favorite when the album was released in 1993 and i can say with certainty they the actual words are: Once more unto the bridge dear friends Breeding is an ugly thing Copulate Oh jeez • the first line is a quotation of Shakespeare's Henry V, act III scene I • the first line is also spoken by Blood the dog in the 1975 film "A Boy And His Dog" along with the second and third line. You can hear all this at about 45 minutes and 10 seconds into the movie, starting with "breeding is an ugly thing..." • the fourth line sounds like an actual sample of Blood's voice taken from this movie, and though I haven't pinpointed exactly where it's from, given Blood's world-weary personality, it could be from anywhere.
