This song really touched me because I heard it soon after a really hard breakup. I had liked this boy for a very long time and we became best friends. He's extremely shy so it took a while, but I came to find out he liked me too. We finally got together officially after several back and forth sessions with him that hurt me pretty badly. This lasted for a little over a month, and I thought we had everything going for us, but out of the blue he just breaks up with me. I was still dealing with the pain when I heard this song, and I cry just about every time I hear it because it reminds me so much of us. Such a heartbreaking but beautiful song will always be on my list of favorites. |
