I don't think our subject is just drinking alcohol here. "All the people start to rush" - "Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic" - She's clearly wasted, but I get the definite impression there's drugs involved. The overwhelming theme is about getting wasted and then leaving with some guy, which if we are to accept the "drunk people can't consent" argument means she's about to be raped by some guy she just met because she got too wasted to say no. |
