Heavy petting zoo dealt with homelessness on a few tracks. This track may allude to homelessness/gutter punk as well. Just because an artist says "I" doesn't mean its a reference to the singer. Its not about fat mike Its about a homless guy or a poor guy For the "kleenex, lint, holes.....everything important to me---" that means all this person owns is the kleenex and lint(essentially nothing) all they own right? And HOLES-so ... all the lint and kneenex falls down the pant legs because the pockets have holes! This guy owns nothing---hence the linolium floor being important cuz there are no possesions. I personally thought it was a guy with linolim rolled up he keeps in an alley.. to feel like he has at least a piece of a home. No car, no house, furniture. But linolium supports my head mentally and literally. Street guy playing violen for change, using a metal reader....I don't think its fat mike.... |
