A very under-rated song. About a guy who is heading over heals over a girl. This girl manipulates him by leading him on. She used him for her agenda. Best line is "I got back to my house; she was gone. I'm not surprised You can never ground a bird that needs to fly." You can't keep this girl because she is going to fly away. This song reminds me of "The Road Goes on Forever" by Robert Earl Keen. I wonder if Mark was inspired by this song when he wrong this song. There are a lot of similarities between the two songs. |
