@[kittysixx:1718] I've wondering what the meaning of the title of this song could mean for a while now... and I think I finally figured it out You know when you're down or depressed you always have that voice in the back of your head telling you that you're worthless or even that you should take your own life. But somehow you push yourself to keep going and have this strange hope that everything will be alright one day... I think the words 'you know you're right' refer to when you get to that point when you no longer have hope and just quit fighting for you life and start actually believing all these nasty thoughts that grow in your head like 'you know no one loves you and no one will miss you when you're gone'... if you take it to an extreme you can even consider that when Kurt wrote this song he already decided (or at least considered) comiting suicide and in this song he just tells himself he's doing the right thing (even tough 'no though was put in to this' because now the voices in his head make it obvoius that he was always meant to end that away) |
