For me, this song encompasses the feelings towards this girl I've really fallen for. It feels like no matter how hard I try & want to be with her, it feels like it's never going to happen. There was a point where we were getting on really well, and I thought that I could've had a chance of getting with her in the BF/GF stage, but when she said that she wanted to remain friends after I asked her on a dtae, it hit me hard, and without realising it until about a few months later that what we had before I asked her out on a date, wasn't/isn't there. I still am head over heels about her, but in my head it feels like whenever I want to talk to her, it feels like I'm constantly inconveniencing her, and it's tearing me up inside. This is a beautifully written song, and definitely sums up, for me, the feelings I have towards this girl. |

| This song, as well as a couple of others, helped me through a really dark stage of my life a few years ago. I'm not sure how it helped, but it felt right into what I was feeling at that stage in time. My interpretation of the song is no matter how many times people tell you to change your ways, and no matter how hard you try to change, it can at times feel like it's an impossible task. | |
