It's about a girl who is teasing and maybe a little frustrated with another girl who she cares about whom either isn't facing her sexuality choices or is in another relationship, or is scared of committing to this one. Of the twins this one is Sara's song and it's about one of her past relationships. She's gay and wanted to date a girl who had primarily dated guys before that so she teased her about 'could I be your boyfriend.' She said in interviews with fuse that it's meant to be tongue in cheek and about that point of a relationship when you're trying to decide to make it exclusive or not and wondering if the other person feels the same way. |

The relationship is full of contradictions, it's wrong and right. The singer is confused (all this noise in my head) and mixed up, so he tries to forget but the other won't let him.
