This song seems to be about prostitution and the selling of sex in the USA.(porn on the rise, selling your girlfriends to the street, didn't you know there was a choice?) Eventually those things like everything loses its beauty and ages (blondes turn to gray). He just wants to find a place where he can get away from it all and busy himself with other matters (mountain I can climb or Machu Pichu, sacred mountain that can isolate you from corruption surrounding it) |

This song is about a guy who sees his girl eyeing other men. His thought is, "Take it or leave it!" which just means that if you're going to leave me then go or stay by my side. This is more of a warning because he also knows that whoever she goes with will just use her and cheat on her. The "girls/boys lie too much",nwhich I thought was "act too much" is about how everyone tries to play little love games like a girl / boy making their lover jealous and the person trying to "act tough" like it doesn't matter. In this case, it is the narrator and his girl. |
