Hi everyone. For me, another song where God and Death are involved (and also accepting that God and Death are one figure in the end). It started the night a human being and Death met. This human being is telling the story. I guess this human being was trying to kill him/herself and then the Death appears speaking about 'Freedom', freedom you obtain after you die, and also wisdom. After all, human beings are having a kind of 'glory' in evolution. But then again, God's joke. Human beings thinks they are the pick of the piramid, even that they were created in his/her own image and likeness. So stupid, we are in fact small, tasteless and flawed. We try to understand, but we are only men, trying to be more than we are. And as we can't be like God, we hate him/her. We waste our lifes 'hating the Lord'. That's human being. |

Well, from my point of view, this song is dedicated to God, it's a total reproach to him (or her), from the begining till the end. If he (or she) created us, then he/she put us apart in this piece of stone far away from him/her, like a broken toy, and leave us here alone to struggle with our future. Well, not totally alone, he/she give us some knowledge, but it is mostly a lie (tales of deceit) and all along the history, those how had some truth were killed or murdered, and still they are. And after all, God's pride, so big and powerful that we see it as a model of goodness. And foolish as we are, money is the thing that moves the world. So ironic, but this is God's desire. But don't dispair... it will come the day everything will be different, but only if God takes all those stupid things from us. |
