I guess I'm just the pessimist of the group but to me, it seems like this song is clearly about a person who's having a relapse and who does not intend to get clean again anytime soon. He "fell in love" with his drugs and "it was the best idea [he] ever had." Today, he "fell" and "felt better." Just knowing that he feels better on drugs matters. To the narrator, drugs make him feel stronger and shaper. He found a box of needles. What a beautiful thing. |
