this song is cute. they parallel the trials of keeping with this girl that doesnt return the same feelings to an ongoing storm. the whole metaphor in the lyrics is great. oh im seeing them in november with fsf, finch, and nfg. im beyond stoked :) |

yes. as previously stated above by the trend-following public, chris is an utter genius. but if you think dc is good, why dont you explore other emo writers like the anniversary, further seems forever, thursday, taking back sunday, rocking horse winner. dashboard is your first encounter with emo but if you really like the stuff, its not the best. this song is my personal favorite. i think it expresses helplessness. and contrary to above opinions, this song reflects a great deal of emotion. its just not about heartache in the typical way. |
