This song means so much to me, I might not interpret it the way it literally reads however it resounds with me totally. It relates to how I moved from Los Angeles and how I had to leave it all behind.. 'So glad to meet'cha Angeles' , 'Cause I'm all over it Angeles'. It speaks of true loss of locality and home to me which is why I love it so much. To be honest the whole album (Either/Or) is incredible and so is Elliot Smith himself a Class A songwriter. |
