thus was one of the best songs of evanescence I've known for a awhile.
does anyone happen to know which song they included the lyrics right at the end of the song where they had it fade out then fading in with softer music of them singing "yeah, yeah.. yeah" which is her singing and the guy is singing "oh, oh, oh, oh, oh" it's to another song I love but can't think of the name however it some to be mixed in with this song here I don't know if the first version is the one I'm thinking of. |

In my opinion, I see more then just two meanings. To me when I listen to the way he sings the lyrics with the video and without the video, I feel as though he's talking to a heroin addict telling him to help others with their obsessions. he has good intentions and is changing his attempt to help the heroin addict so that he can help with everyone else's obsessions such as their: thrive for power(wars), sex obsession, drug obsession, lack of faith and courage to escape from being a slave, inflicting pain to ones self ect. ect. he constantly asks him self or the heroin addict "I want you to help them" "should I, could I" help them. but that's from what I see and hear from the song. it took some time to deeply think of the meaning I seen in the song. if you are to interpret the meaning listen to it without the video then again with the video; that's where/ how I started with my research. again I agree strongly this is a great song, songs aren't like this anymore sadly. |
