I believe this song is about someone with ALS (not sure who) considering the lyrics "Got him a chair in '73 It was his only option So Manny agreed Same chair he has today since they threw the cane away " showing his slowly deteriorating body along with " My life will fight in my body for air" making a reference to the fact that ALS slowly creeps up to your lungs eventually suffocating the victim |
