| This song sounds a little sad to some people; that's because you need to listen to the surprised and joyful sound in her voice when she says "happy". This song is from the mind of a girl that has been depressed for so very long, and she didn't think she would ever get better. She never thought she could be happy; she never thought anyone could love her. Then out of the darkness there comes a moment when she realizes she is happy. She is so surprised, because she never thought she could be happy again. Now she likes herself more and can accept the love of another, because now she thinks she deserves it. Some people say it sounds sad, and it kind of does, because you can't just switch over to miss rainbowglitter after hating yourself for so long. Kurt Cobain said when you are depressed you only feel sad and when you are not sad you don't feel anything. This song is the declaration that the time I that loop of sadness is over.
