I dont think people realise how dark this song really is, to me it's not about love at all, i think its about a person/ghost who is very lonely and isolates themselves from the rest of society and even family. I like to think its actually about a guy/demon who happens to grow an obsession with a particular women who it happens to follow round. You might think its abit stupid but thats what it means to me and i can truly relate. Lets go through the lyrics. I am the next act Waiting in the wings (To me this means this guy or thing is the next scene or step in her life thats going to happen or waiting to happen. The lonely guy is waiting for a respond from her in a liking way which is very unlikely. Whether its a bad or good thing thats gonna happen the guy is the next Act waiting, waiting for her to start an act or if not he's gonna make an act towards her.) Im an animal Trapped in your hot car (The guy is trappded in his own bubble and unstable mind for which he created himself and the liking of her is making it worst, he wants and likes her so much but probaly already knows he cant have her but he cant escape from liking her or even thinking of her.) I am all the days That you choose to ignore (The loneliness really kicks in hear, he wants at least abit of attention or noticement from her but she clearly dosent pay any attention towards him at all and in fact ignores him, maybe she just dosent have the time or deep down shes not interested and probaly thinks hes a creep, loner ect.) You are all i need You are all i need Im in the middle of your picture Lying in the reeds (The guys now states she is clearly all he needs to fulfill at least abit if happiness, the guy dosent want anything really but just someone to love him and be there for him. Hes in her picture other words her life free/single and here for her but she just dosent want him.) I am a moth Who just wants to share your light ( The loineliness is over the top now, hes probaly got the loneliest feeling and just wants to share her space/time even seconds to hease his loneliness, moths share lights to mate and other words he wants to share her light not to actually mate but just to at least talk. Also certain type of demons have insect featutres has descibed so the thing saying these words could not be an actuall person but a ghost or even demon, i like to think this cause it gives the song the creepy, mysterious dark mood which i like, plus if you listen to the instruments carefully the music and melody is rather dull, weird and creepy in a good way obviously.) Im just an insect Trying to get out of the night ( again the insect appearance and feelings are involved, the guy or whatever is suffering and is just trying to escape, for the guy Escape reality and for a demons view Escape its consciounce or dimension it happens to be trapped in. He is small, weak and vunrable and just wants to escape.) I only stick with you Because there are no others ( Now this is my fav line and is the line which prooves that this song is not about love, well to me anyway. First off he cant even love her, hes just using her for his own good, he just sticks with her other words follows her, btw demons are known to stalk follow a certain someone which is whats happening here, there is no one else for this guy and he just needs her to feel better or her soul to feed off to carry on its demonic lonely life.) Back to CHORUS (Same interpretatin) Its all wrong Its all right Its all wrong Its all right ( At this point the guy or demon has finally gave up on trying to get her and get her attention so it just drops it all but probaly never forget, he says it alright probaly cause the rejectioin is nothing new to him and hes had it all his life so he can deal with it, the all wrong part is saying that the rejectioin and disliking towards him is not fair, but after all he only needs her cause there is no one else so he or it dosent probaly deserve her for that case. At this final point he probaly rages and disappears, commits suicide or even hurts the women for not liking him, he may also continue to stalk her and get worst voilently over time, what ever the case its not gonna be never a good end.) I may have delved too deep into this song but its my most favourite song ever and i can relate to it 100%, this is what the song means to me no one else. The demon part to it can fit in really well, it dosent have to be a person saying these words it could be a pure evil lonely demon, i study alot about demons and mythology so u probaly think the demon part to it is stupid and if u do u probaly dont understand my view.
