@[BamagedDrain:801] I like your focus on the riptide itself. It does run in circles and can take you down for good, When I lived in Hawaii and surfed, the lady that taught me how to do it would have us seek ot the riptide to help "paddle out" into the desired surf zone, But yes, it is generally undesireable, and your insight and recognition of the circular manner of the current was very insightful, thanks! |
