This song definitely has heavy undertones of essentially 'loss of innocence' based themes, yet there's a very specific basis for it that pops out at me. I believe it's a guys song to a girl that he hasn't met yet, a girl that goes through a lot of hardships, a girl that he's in love with yet doesn't even know. We always hear expressions like everyone has 'the one' or there's someone out there for everybody, this song in a way plays on that. Anyway, the guy is bound to love the girl more than anything, all her conflicts will fade away when she meets him because they're destined to be together, they just haven't met yet. |

It's a religious based song. The lyrics sound like they're being spoken to god from a person who at one time turned their back on religion and now have embraced it again. Couple that with the Church Choir esc background and you've got a semi gospel styled song. |
