I don't think this track has anything to do with a relationship. Homosexual or otherwise. I thinks its along the same vein as Bowerbirds - In Our Talons. Its about how people / mankind take & take. It is the natural instinct of ours (they're heavy and they're OLD) that we need to shed because at this point of our existence, its going to lead to our ultimate self inflicted undoing. "take these thoughts..." and get rid of them, dont let that natural greed "steal your soul", because whatever you gain "isn't of real worth". And if we cant / don't evolve from this, then "just burn the whole place down." |
