Do you think any soldier signed up after 9/11 thinking that they'd be knitting sweaters? Humans love war and conflict. It is in our nature. Just because you weren't born with the balls to to stare death in the eyes everyday and tell him to shove it doesn't mean you have the right to make judgements for others. |

@[xiiBrokenTV:534] I guess anyone could make the lyrics to any song pertain to themselves and their culture. If this song was about the Jewish faith why would he use such a Christian centric metaphor? I think this song is about soldiers returning home from the Middle East to a country that doesn't wholly appreciate their sacrifice...See I just made this song pertain to something that the author probably didn't even consider whilst he was writing this. |
