i saw tbs just the other day, and the energy dropped in the venue when adam said he was going to sing a song about something that ripped him apart, and the reason he sings this song is part of therapy. he wants listeners to rid their demons whilst listening to this song. its about his real-life ex who left him. he sang with such emotion and it was epic. during the lines, "you'll never be happy" he said, "she ACTUALLY said that to me!" the way he acted out this song highlights that its something very personal to him |
