a very powerful song and one of my favorites. It had a profound effect me one night in my youth in the late 1960's when I had someone slip me a mood altering drug; this song was then played and I really felt like part of it! Its not so much a sad song, but one of "what if". Its even more relevant as I have become older, I chose a course and this song looks back to say, "alright, all this happened, we can look back but change nothing." With Jack Bruce's passing its even more powerful. a masterpiece. |
