I don't know what it is with these people and repeating the same phrase over and over. I literally had a conversation with the song when I first heard it on the radio. "I whip my hair back and forth" "Okay..." "I whip my hair back and forth" "Thanks for telling me that." "I whip my hair back and forth" "Yeah, I know." "I whip my hair back and forth" "Okay! I get it!" How hard is it to come up with some new lyrics? Or NOTES. (NOTE: I have nothing against Willow Smith. I think she is very cute. I just really hate that song.) |

| I think this song isn't necessarily about two people. I think the artist is singing about fate aka: (the rhythm of the night). He's talking about the rhythm of his life, which I think of as how someone lives their life. In the music video, it shows people singing the song from where the have died.(It was kind of creepy.) Each of them have their own story but sing the same song. | |

| This song kind of reminds me of the holocaust. I know it's not necessarily about that, but I made some connections. ("people talking without speaking"). I just reminded me of when everyone was so hesitant to get involved and hence, "the sound of silence". I really love this song, (being the crazy hippie I am,) and really appreciate it's worth. | |
