The first idea that pops into my head when I listen to this song is that it is definitely about practicing what you preach. But however, when someone says it to another some people realize they have done or still do the same thing. Then they wish they never had done that thing, and think they are just the same as the other person. Once they feel they are in the same boat as the other person, they feel like an asshole. And from the song name, he is probably talking about still counting the people that do bad things but feel bad about it, like an addiction for example. |
