| This one nails it. Like you said, I think having gone through the experience yourself, you can relate to what the song is all about. I haven't been through anything like this but it's amazing to me that once you know what the singer is feeling, then all of a sudden everything makes sense. And as you said, if it's not the original author then I think you lose some of those emotions of why it was originally written. Once you know what the singer is feeling you don't have to try too hard to understand what's going on. Thanks for the help in understanding this song and I hope you two can move on and everything and not dwell too much in the past. | |
