It's about relapse, and temptation. It's all about hiding your beliefs and things in your head (superstitions). |

Yeah it isn't about god. Although some references can be made. But the song is about an abusive dad. I feel you Kud, I had the same when I was a kid. |

To me, it's about myself. Becoming a monster on the inside, after being left behind and lost. Hence the "I divorce". It's about basically about becoming emotionless in my head. It's scary to think how much it links to me. |

I think it's about how certain things are constantly pushing people away from you, and the "If I can get a grip I'll pull you down into the hell I call my head" it's basically describing how f*cked up he/me is in the head, and that you should stay away incase you become the person he is. |

| Mudvayne – A World So Cold Lyrics

This song is meant to be interpreted in multiple ways. I can be expressed for when you're tired of life, you've lost someone you love, you've lost something you love, or, in my case, living with mental disorders, having to cope with everyone who walks away. |

Yeah, I saw Chad performing this song in 2001 and he stated "This next song is about child abuse, this song is called fucking cradle". I love this song, in fact I like Mudvayne in general as they bring out the most personal shit they can find and let it out as anger. |

It's definitely about drugs. I don't know if what The Amazing Jeff was right with the name, but it's definitely about him getting cleaned up, and for this other person to stay clean for him. The phrase "That gaze in your eyes remember when you died" sounds as if he is talking about once they first took the drugs they were taking, they died on the inside. |

I'm guessing this is a song Dez wrote about someone who is significant in his life. and he is asking her/him to feed his dreams, satisfy his dreams, his goals in life? That's what I pick up. |

These lyrics don't match the demo version. This is the actual version of Oddity. However since they are very similar, I'll explain the meaning in both.
It's about losing who you are as a person, losing your identity, and it simply has to be that way.
"Seems to me I need some identity" and "This is the way it's got to be". |

I read somewhere that Dez apparently said it had something to do with what Los Angeles was like at the time this was written.. And some other dude said it was about destroying someone's ego. I personally think it was about screwing with a system, "full power up to the point man" and "screw down use the system as a main plan". He also says "Don't fuck with me" which could mean don't screw him over while he screws the system. But I have no idea. |

I have no idea what this song could be about but from my impression it seems like a message about war and destruction, and how selfishness overcomes destruction? |

Don't the lyrics basically say the song meaning dudes? It's all Chad's internal thoughts. Chad didn't have a very good childhood and since this was their first album (Kill, I Oughta) he had the chance to release his anger. |

I personally think it's a big fuck you to the music industry. Who try to change people and strip them of their true potential.
- It's just a shame that Mudvayne tilted into the mainstream. |

Well, this song links to Dez a lot, and me to be honest. Dez has major anxiety issues or did have a lot in the past, even in interviews he's admitted how bad he is around people and public places. |

| Coal Chamber – My Frustration Lyrics

The title basically describes it. But yeah, I think it does have some referece to his wife whem he says "My butterfly, don't fly away". And "I, need to breathe, the breath of life. You, constantly, drain my life". That's referencing the fact that his ex-wife didn't want him to be in the band, but he joined back in 1995 ending their marriage. |
