| I talked to Tim Skipper about this song when they were on their album tour at a little venue in Ames, Iowa. He said they wrote the song about a friend they had growing up that moved back in with his parents after a couple years on his own. He wanted everything good in life to happen to him, but didn't want to lift a finger to do any of it. A depressed guy who daydreams that his dreams will come true, but knows they won't; and then when the daydream is over, he'll be depressed again.
