| I agree that the song is about a girl who can be viewed as an impostor. However I feel that the girl being an impostor has a different meaning. To me it seems that her being a satellite among the stars is a metaphor for her seeming to be the perfect girl at a glace, but once he gets to know her well she isn't as good as she seems. However he still is attracted to her, even though he knows she is not the perfect star he once thought. This makes it seem like the girl is probably a good friend, who he is very close with but feels is just out of his reach. | |
