Face value meaning: Starting a Band 'Deeper meaning': Sharing a partnership with someone you care about, whether it be in a band, a friendship, a relationship, or marriage. It is about sharing an intense bond with another and the anxieties that go along with. It is about giving up the self for the sake of the whole that could be. That ultimately you just got to go for it the more you think the more you doubt and question: "And how do I know if you're feeling the same as me? And how do I know if that's the only place you want to be?" "And if you want it too, then there's nothing left to do, Let's start a band" The last lines can make me cry sometimes, I don't know why, its not a particularly amazing song. |
