| In my case, this song is about a girl that is so in love with a boy that doesn't love her the same way. She knows he doesn't love her the same way, but when things fall through for him and he needs her, she's there no matter what. She knows it's wrong, but it's like she's a prisoner to his love. She doesn't know how to break free from him. The longer she stays in love with him, the more her heart breaks. It breaks so bad, that there's nothing to break. Even when she tries to get her life together, he finds a way to get back into her life, and she loves him too much to turn him away. When she realizes that the pain is too much, she let's him go completely. And even though she loves him, she knows she's done everything she could for him.
