Not quite true. For one, the origin of the show was "revealed" in 2007 in a London interview. And while the name was inspired by Caroline Kennedy based on a picture he saw of her, the lyrics themselves were a love song inspired by his wife, Marsha. However, he needed a different name to make the rhymes work, so he choose the name Caroline. Of course, this was revealed in a 2014 interview, so it was well after you made this comment.
