| Voltaire – The Conquerer Worm Lyrics | 11 years ago |

This song uses the exact wording of the Edgar Allen Poe poem by the same name. For those who cannot understand the meaning of this, the "Conqueror worm" is death, and everyone must eventually succumb to it. That is why the poem refers to the "That the play is the tragedy 'Man,' ". A tragedy is a story in which the main character dies, or a main supporting character. Also the lines "Through a circle that ever returneth in/ To the self-same spot," refer to the fact that human life is a never ending cycle, people are born, they die, and their children go through the same cycle. |

| Voltaire – Riding a Black Unicorn Down the Side of an Erupting Volcano While Drinking from a Chalice Filled with the Laughter of Small Children Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| This song has a pretty simple meaning. This song appears to be saying that when it comes down to it, those who are bold and stand up for themselves are more likely to succeed. It also says that the world needs heroes, and that you are not alone in the world, even when the odds seem completely against you. | |
| Voltaire – Goodnight Demonslayer Lyrics | 11 years ago |
|
The most important lines in this song, in my opinion, are "I won`t tell you, there`s nothing beneath your bed I won`t tell you, that it`s all in your head This world of ours is not as it seems The monsters are real but not in your dreams Learn what you can from the beasts you defeat, you`ll need it for some of the people you meet." It states that when a child grows up, they learn more about the real world, and although monsters might not exist, they must stand up to the evil people in this world, and make sure not to give in. |
