This song has so much meaning for me because it perfectly fits what I'm thinking and feeling right now towards my ex. We broke up about a year ago and we recently got back in contact with each other. We had the most amazing sexual connection and I don't believe either of us can find anything like it anywhere else and we both admitted that to each other recently. I just came out of a relationship and he has a girlfriend but I'm really not phased by her. "you say you're lonely": to me, this means that although he's in a relationship, there's always an element of loneliness because no one understands him like I do. "Give me two weeks you won't recognise her": I know that all it will take is a little time together (it won't even take two weeks) and things will be how they used to be. It's happened before, it will happen again.
