I believe Anita was told by her mother that love would be so perfect and divine, much like a fairy tale. She is told great things about her future man and how he’ll treat her. Her mom fills her mind with notions of perfectness, but in reality and eventually experiencing it, it's not all roses. There are arguments and disagreements. She met a great man and thought he was perfection, but then time changed. So she’s saying the fairy tale ended and she was back to reality. |
